Do you know those images that just take forever to load? Today in class we discovered that the speed that a website loads and its bit size are directly correlated. I was able to explore Gimp for the first time, which is a free open-source graphics editor. We edited various pictures by increasing and decreasing the amount of colors used and adjusting the dithering on the picture. We also explored how to count using Binary as well as the difference between Bitmaps and Vectors.
